July 1: RTA "rare" fare increase takes effect

July 11 hearing set for Heights Area Circulator
At 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, RTA will host a public hearing to discuss proposed route and timetable changes to the #821 University Circle/Heights Area Community Circulator. The hearing site is wheelchair accesible, and served by RTA buses. Current #821 route, Press release

RTA: the best way to get great summer fun! Summer fun peaks this week. The Yankees invade Jacobs Field with July 3 fireworks. RTA hosts a family party July 4 for the Flats fireworks display. The Cleveland Orchestra performs July 7 on Public Square, followed by the Ingenuity Festival and the Tall Ships at Harborfest. Use RTA and save gas $$! Dogs putting more bite in transit security
The federal government is increasing its attention on transit security, and this story discusses the growing trend of using police dogs. Later this year, using money from a Homeland Security grant, RTA will introduce its first-ever canine unit. Press release
