New transit center to open near Parmatown Mall
Bus passengers in Parma and surrounding suburbs will receive a service boost this week when a new $2.1 million transit center opens just south of the Parmatown Mall. Six bus lines will use the center. Release

Three bomb-sniffing dogs beef up RTA security
Thanks to a Homeland Security grant, three bomb-sniffing dogs are being added to RTA's Transit Police force. It is part of RTA's continuing effort to make the system as safe as possible. Release

RTA ridership sets new agency record

Ridership grows nationally, statistics show
National statistics show that people are continuing to turn their back on high gas prices, with ridership increasing by more than 2.5 billion trips, or 4.25 percent. Light rail showed the most popularity, with an 11 percent increase. Release
