FTA salutes RTA with national ridership award
RTA's ridership soared from 52.7 million trips in 2002 to 57.2 million trips in 2006 -- an increase of 8.5 percent. Because of that, and several ridership initiatives, the agency received an award from the Federal Transit Administration for "success in enhancing ridership." Release

Canton transit agency eyes higher fares
