Donate cash to Harvest for Hunger on trolleys this month

CLEVELAND -- The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) has expanded its support of Harvest for Hunger by collecting cash donations on trolleys.

Families and fareboxes hungry for your donations

RTA Trolley ambassadors -- the friendly drivers of the free, green trolleys -- are collecting Harvest for Hunger cash donations, right in the farebox.

Riding the trolley is free. If you have extra bills or coins to spare, drop them in a farebox throughout April.

All money will go to the Harvest for Hunger program at the Cleveland Foodbank, where $1 can provide four healthy meals for families in need.

RTA also supports Harvest for Hunger on social media and is giving away prizes to those who pledge more than $25 on Facebook:
