Sept 1, 2016: Ride RTA to Browns pre-season game

Aug 30, 2016

CLEVELAND – The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is your most affordable way to see the Cleveland Browns this year, and the pre-season game at 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, is no exception.

Park free at a Rapid Station, ride to the Tower City Station, and ride the Waterfront Line to the West Third Street Station.

A special $5 Round Trip pass will be available for cash purchase at Brookpark, Puritas, Triskett, Tower City Track 7, the W. 3rd Station and South Harbor Station.

Access to the Waterfront Line from the west has been modified.

Exit at the usual Tower City platform on the Rotunda level, take the escalators to the Public Square level, then take the stairs at the RTA secondary entrance – the Track 7 entrance, located between Darrio Fashion Group and Victoria's Secret – down to Track 7, which serves the Waterfront Line. Then ride the Waterfront Line to the West 3rd Street Station.

Access to the Waterfront Line from the east has not changed.

Ride the Red Line to the Tower City Station, then transfer to the Waterfront Line. Or ride the Blue Line or Green Line to the Waterfront Line.
