Aug 30, 2016

CLEVELAND -- For the most efficient and affordable transportation to the Cleveland National Air Show, ride the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) Waterfront Line to Burke Lakefront Airport.

Any Rapid line into Tower City Station connects you to the Waterfront Line.

From the east: Ride the Red Line to the Tower City Station, then transfer to the Waterfront Line. Or ride the Blue Line or Green Line to the Waterfront Line.

From the west, on the Red Line: Exit at the usual Tower City platform on the Rotunda level, take the escalators to the Public Square level, then take the stairs at the RTA secondary entrance – the Track 7 entrance, located between Darrio Fashion Group and Victoria's Secret – down to Track 7, which serves the Waterfront Line.

Then ride the Waterfront Line to the North Coast Station on East Ninth Street. From there, it’s a short walk to the Air Show grounds.

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels jet demonstration team will perform thrilling demonstrations. Gates open daily at 9 a.m. Flying shows begin at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

The Waterfront Line operates every 15 minutes, from 9 a.m.-midnight.
