CLEVELAND -- The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) cares about kids. Transit Police have a free fingerprinting and ID program for children called Operation KidWatch. These IDs could be vital to police if a child goes missing.

The next free Operation KidWatch event is Saturday, Sept. 7, from noon- 4 p.m. at the Woodmere Village Childrens Party, Town Hall, 27899 Chagrin Blvd.. Stay tuned for more upcoming opportunities to take advantage of this free public service.

Parents must accompany their children and give permission to the officers to take pictures and fingerprints.
