RTA hosts Family Fest at Zoo Aug. 7

 

CLEVELAND – RTA celebrates its 31st anniversary at Family Fest, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7, in the Palava Hut Pavilion at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.

 

Admission is free for residents of Cuyahoga County and Hinckley.

 

A new RTA trolley will be on display. Transit Police will fingerprint children and offer safety tips.

 

Free entertainment includes:

• A magician
• Displays by the Children’s Museum and other area attractions
• Sparkles the Clown and face painting
• Mad Mountain Juggler John Flowers
• St. Ignatius Circus Show
• The Bubble Lady

 

There are several ways to reach the Zoo on RTA:

• Ride any RTA rail line to Public Square, then take the #20C.
• Ride the Red Line to the W. 25^th St. Station, and transfer to #20A, #35 or #51X bus routes
