Attention All Downtown Riders - Parade Reroutes
The Puerto Rican-Latino Parade will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2009. The setup for this event will begin at 10:00am on
Superior between E 18 and E 22. The parade will begin at 1:00pm and proceed west on Superior to E 9, north on E 9, left on the exit ramp
from Route 2 to North Marginal and disband at the Municipal Parking Lot.
During setup, from 10:00am to 1:00pm, the following reroute will be in effect:
- #3: Superior
Westbound: Regular route to Superior and E 30, left on E 30, right on Payne Avenue, right on E 17, left on Superior returning to
regular route.
Eastbound: Regular reroute to Superior and E 17, right on E 17, left on Payne Avenue, left on E 30, right on Superior returning to
regular route.
Once the parade begins, from 1:00pm until it concludes, the following reroutes will be in effect:
- #1: St. Clair
Westbound: Regular route to St. Clair and E 30, left on E 30, right on Payne, left on E 17, right on Prospect, right on Ontario,
left on Rockwell, left on West Roadway, right on Superior returning to regular route.
Eastbound: From W 3 and Superior, right on St. Clair, right on Ontario, left on Prospect, left on E 17, right on Payne Avenue, left
on E 30, right on St. Clair returning to regular route.
- #3: Superior
Westbound: Regular route to Superior and E 30, left on E 30, right on Payne, left on E 17, right on Prospect, right on Ontario, right
on Euclid, left on East Roadway, left on Superior returning to regular route.
Eastbound: From Prospect and W 3, continue Prospect, left on E 17, right on Payne Avenue, left on E 30, right on Superior returning
to regular route.
- #4 : Wade Park
#38 : Hough
Westbound: Regular route to Payne Avenue and E 17, left on E 17, right on Prospect, right on Ontario, right on Euclid, left on East
Roadway, left on Superior returning to regular.
Eastbound: From Prospect and W 3, continue Prospect, left on E 17, right on Payne Avenue returning to regular route.
- #39 : Lakeshore
Westbound: Regular route on I-90, Route 2, exit at W 3, left on W 3, right on Superior returning to regular route.
Eastbound: Regular route to Ontario and St. Clair, continue Ontario, left on Lakeside, right on W 3, right on entrance ramp to
I-90/Route 2 returning to regular route.
- #90F : Broadway - Libby
Northbound: Regular route to E 9 and Prospect, continue Prospect, left on Ontario to layover.
Southbound: Regular route.
