Shaker Square. Your pass to old and new.

Built in 1929, Shaker Square is Ohio's oldest shopping district. Its charming American Colonial-Georgian architecture made it one of the premier destinations of yesterday. However, it's the modern and unique specialty stores, tons of trendy restaurants, and art-deco multiplex movie theater that make it the perfect One Pass destination today.

Around the Square.

Let's talk dining. If fresh seafood is your passion, try Sushi on the Square, where the décor is as fresh as the food (hint: start out with the California roll—you won't be disappointed). Luchita's Mexican Restaurant is also a great option (beware: the salsa made with fresh cilantro is so good, you may not make it to the main course). And then there's Fire Food & Drink — which Bon Appetit magazine describes as "This hip urban space with sleek lines and an open kitchen that has fans of longtime Cleveland chef Doug Katz following him into the Fire."

While it's the food that will lure you in, the shopping and entertainment will keep you here — starting with Shaker Square Cinemas, one of the only theaters in town that shows both current Hollywood movies and independent films. After the movie, take a stroll through the gallery at Corcoran Fine Arts (be careful not to make any sudden movements while an auction is in session). Before heading home, grab a cappuccino at Dewey's, serving coffee with a conscience since 2005.

So take a One Pass Trip to Shaker Square. And stay, well, for as long as you possibly can.
