Beginning Monday, March 13, 2023 - April 1, 2024, The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) and its contractors have planned and scheduled improvements to the GCRTA Warrensville Van Aken Rapid Transit Blue Line Station. Improvements will require installation of electrical service and staging of station construction within a portion of the “Existing Busway.”
During this time, a portion of the of the adjacent parking lot located in the city public right-of-way between the “Existing Busway” and the Shaker Plaza Shopping Center property will be utilized as a “Temporary Busway” for GCRTA bus service operations. This means no on street parking or private automobiles will be allowed within this area for the duration of the construction period.
