Norfolk Southern Railroad is about to start work on their bridge that crosses over RTA tracks near RTA’s Red Line West 98th Street Station. For the safety of our customers, RTA must close rail traffic in the area. Timeline is 7:00pm until complete.
RTA will provide shuttle buses between Tower City and West 117th Street on the Red Line starting Wednesday, July 30, 2014, 7:00pm until the Norfolk Southern work is complete. Regular Rapid service will run west of West 117th station.
Note: Customers going to Indians game tonight: Get there before 7:00pm and check for RTA supervisors to tell you if you must take a bus or the train home.
Replacement buses will operate on a schedule close to that of the train, but allow extra travel time to reach your destination.
