Construction Reroute

The intersection of Union and Broadway avenues is affected by construction. Union Avenue, between East 65th Street and Broadway Avenue, is closed to eastbound traffic, and westbound traffic is reduced to one lane. Two-way traffic is maintained on Broadway, but reduced to one lane in each direction on the west side of the street.

Southbound:

• Regular route to East 73rd Street and Carson Avenue.
• Left on Carson Avenue.
• Continue on East 77th Street.
• Right on Kinsman Avenue.
• Right on East 79th Street to regular route to East 65th Street and Engel Avenue.
• Right on Engel Avenue.
• Left on Broadway Avenue to regular route.     

Northbound: 

• Regular route to Broadway and Union avenues.
• Continue on Broadway Avenue.
• Right on Engel Avenue.
• Left on East 65th Street to regular route to East 79th Street and Garden Valley Avenue.
• Continue on East 79th Street.
• Left on Kinsman Avenue.
• Left on East 77th Street.
• Continue on Carson Avenue.
• Right on East 73rd Street.
• Right on Kinsman Avenue.
• Lleft on East 79th Street to regular route.
