Fans head for FirstEnergy Stadium.

CLEVELAND -- If you are heading to FirstEnergy Stadium for some Cleveland Browns football this fall, your first stop should be the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA).

As the Browns begin another season, fans will flock to the lakefront for a Family Night on Saturday, Aug. 3, and pre-season games on Aug. 8 and 15. These games, and all regular season games, are all served by RTA's Waterfront Line trains.

Why fight the traffic or pay for expensive parking, when you could ride RTA for only $5?

How to ride the Rapid (trains) to see the Browns

  1. Park for free at many of RTA’s Rapid stations.
  2. Red Line riders, buy a $5 All-Day Pass from a ticket vending machine inside the station. Keep it with you for the rest of the evening. The pass is good until 3 a.m.
  3. Ride in comfort on any Red, Blue or Green line train into Tower City.
  4. From there, light-rail trains go directly to the Waterfront Line, and Red Line customers can transfer to the Waterfront Line. Green and Blue Line riders, pay when you exit.
  5. Exit at the West Third Street Station, and walk across the street to FirstEnergy Stadium.
  6. After the game, rail service home is guaranteed for at least 90 minutes.
