CLEVELAND, OH – The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is reporting that four staff members have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last several days. The employees include:

• A maintenance worker from the Triskett District. Last day worked was June 19
• A rail equipment mechanic. Last day worked was June 23.
• A bus operator who works from the Triskett District. Last day worked was June 25.
• A paratransit operator.  Last day worked was June 28.

All employees’ work areas or vehicles were cleaned and thoroughly disinfected. Other staff members who may have been in contact with each employee were notified.

To date, 21 RTA employees have tested positive for COVID-19, and 11 have fully recovered and have returned to work.
