GCRTA Suspends Mask Mandate

As a result of a federal court order on April 18, 2022, the Center for Disease Control's (CDC) January 29, 2021, Order requiring masks on public transportation conveyances and at transportation hubs is no longer in effect.

ADA Office on West 6th St. Reopened to the Public

The ADA Office inside the RTA Main Office is now serving customers by appointment on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Transiteers were a group of Cleveland Transit System bus operators who came together as singing group in 1962 to perform. Now you can see and hear their history as part of new exhibit at the Western Reserve Historical Society museum.

Helping Hands Honoree Chief Deirdre R. Jones, MPA

Deirdre R. Jones, MPA, Chief of Police/Director of Security, Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) Police Department, received a Helping Hands Award for her support of the Diversion Center, including the installation of the garden area, and a shift in culture about mental health and substance use disorders within the GCRTA Police.
