The No Surprises Act/Transparency Under the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 states employers who sponsor employee benefit plans and health insurers must make health plan pricing information accessible to consumers.  The rule also requires insurers and group health plans to provide publicly available machine-readable files that include in-network negotiated payment rates and historical payment rates and historical out-of-network charges for covered items and services, including prescription drugs.  Below is the Medical Mutual site directing you to the Machine Readable Files and information regarding the legislation.
