Take GCRTA to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Mar 9, 2026

The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) is the affordable choice to get you to and from the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

For $5, you can ride GCRTA to and from the parade downtown. The 2026 St. Patrick’s Day parade is expected to draw thousands of people into the central business district, and GCRTA is preparing for additional customers with extra capacity on the rail service to ensure a safe and reliable experience for all.

Tower City Station Eastbound and Westbound Service Track Adjustments – If you haven’t been riding GCRTA rail service to and from Tower City in the past four months, you need to know that all westbound trains use the Track 7 platform. The elevator and stairway leading to Track 7 can be found on the Public Square Level (M2) of Tower City Center.

All eastbound trains use the Track 8 platform located inside Tower City station. After exiting the heated waiting room for the Blue and Green Line, turn left towards Track 8.  After exiting the heated waiting room for the Red Line, turn right towards Track 8.

These changes are due to Tower City East Portals Project construction.
