A proposal released by the Chairman of the House of Representatives Transportation and Infrastructure Committee will cut funding for transit and highways by 30% in each of the next 6 years.

If approved, this cut will result in a significant service cut at RTA, the deferral of planned bus replacements and station rehabilitations, and the elimination of approximately 100 positions.
