CLEVELAND -- The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is opening the new east side entrance to the newly renovated Brookpark Station on Monday, April 10 -- just in time for the Cleveland Indians home opener Tuesday.
Although the station was opened during construction, customers parking in the east lot had to walk around to the west lot to access the station.
Construction continues on the west side of the new station and along the west parking lot. The west entrance to the station and the west parking lot will be closed beginning 3 a.m., Monday, April 10.
There are more than 900 free parking spaces in the east lot, and volunteers will be on hand to sell a $5 round trip ticket to customers for Opening Day RTA service.
