The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) announced the reappointments of Board Members Anastasia A. Elder and Jeffrey W. Sleasman during their Board meeting inside GCRTA’s Main Office Building at 1240 W. 6th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44113, on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
Ms. Elder’s and Mr. Sleasman’s appointments were made by City of Cleveland Mayor Justin M. Bibb, with Board Members Elder and Sleasman each serving a new three-year term ending in March 2029.
More about Anastasia A. Elder
Ms. Elder currently serves as an Associate at UB Greensfelder L.L.P., where she represents commercial real estate developers, financial institutions, and institutions of higher education on a range of issues, including contract and employment-related disputes. She joined the GCRTA Board in July 2024 and serves as the Community Advisory Committee Board Liaison. Ms. Elder also serves as a member of the External & Stakeholder Relations & Advocacy, Audit, Safety Compliance & Real Estate, and Compensation Committees.
More about Jeffrey W. Sleasman
Mr. Sleasman has 15+ years of experience in Entrepreneurship, Strategy and Program Management. He joined the GCRTA Board in May 2023 and continues to serve as the Chair of the Operational Planning & Infrastructure Committee. Mr. Sleasman also serves as a member of the Board Governance, Organizational Services & Performance Monitoring, and Audit, Safety Compliance & Real Estate, and Compensation Committees.
