May 11: RTA offers free child fingerprinting & meet the K-9 teams

May 10, 2013

CLEVELAND -- The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) will be on hand at this year's Community Fitness, Health, and Safety Fair at the FirstEnergy Stadium, on Saturday, May 11, 2013, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., offering free fingerprinting services for kids (with a parent's permission).

If a child is missing, this information could help police find that child.

Two K-9 officers will also be on hand to talk about their work for RTA and the community.

Operation KidWatch

Transit Police offer this fingerprinting and ID service free to the community. With a parent's permission, police take pictures and fingerprints of the child for future identification purposes.

K-9 Teams

Sgt. Dany Levy and K-9 Ella, along with Officer Chris Kopp and K-9 Silas, will greet families during this year's Community Fitness, Health and Safety Fair at the FirstEnergy Stadium.

Getting there on RTA is easy

Ride the Watefront Line from Tower City to West 3rd Street Station.

Or, hop on the L-Line trolley from Public Square to the Stadium.
