CLEVELAND -- The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is working with the City of Cleveland on Cedar Road to temporarily reduce westbound lanes from three to two, taking out the curb lane, starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 27 for one week. This will allow RTA to complete work around the Cedar-University Rapid Station.

The lane reduction will occur in the westbound direction after morning rush hour on May 27, and continue through Sunday, with hopes of reopening the full three lanes before rush hour on June 2.

RTA encourages drivers to plan extra time for their commute for these four business days and weekend and apologizes for the inconvenience.

RTA provides quality, economic and safe public transportation via rail, bus and Paratransit throughout Cuyahoga County. Real-time information is available for all buses and trains. Check www.riderta.com or call the RTAnswerline at 216-621-9500.
