RTA Board Meetings Open to In-Person Public Attendance

Aug 6, 2021

CLEVELAND, OH – The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) Board and Committee meetings will be open for in-person attendance by members of the public beginning Tuesday, August 10 when the Board Committees meet at 9 a.m. at the RTA Main Office in the board room.

Allowing for social distancing, RTA officials are maintaining an allowable maximum of 44 people to be present in the room, which includes Board members, presenters and pertinent members of staff.  But to accommodate additional seating for members of the public, the presenters will be permitted in the room only during the time of their presentation.

Additionally, the number of staff will be limited and permitted in the room depending on subject matter under review by the Board. Anyone above the maximum allowable will be encouraged to participate via live stream.

In order to participate when a public comment period is on the agenda, members of the public may make a comment in person or call into the meeting by dialing 440-276-4600.

Please be reminded that facemasks must be worn inside the RTA Main Office, and temperature checks will be required upon entering the building.

RTA will continue to monitor and evaluate the need to use outside meeting facilities to accommodate additional participants or members of the public for future meetings.
