RTA hosts Small Business Participation Workshop

The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA), in conjunction with NEO – Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) is hosting an upcoming Small Business Participation Workshop on “How to do business with the RTA.”  Participants will gain a better understanding of the contract and procurement opportunities that are available in the areas of professional services, construction and supplies.

WHAT:
The Workshop is designed to increase local companies understanding of “How to do business with the RTA” as well as provide guidance into contract and procurement opportunities in the areas of professional services, construction and supplies.  RTA’s Office of Business Development (OBD) works with RTA’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program, by providing technical assistance to help secure certification, guidance in contract compliance, and continual monitoring through all contract stages.  The program is designed to help ensure DBE firms have a level playing field and equal opportunity to receive and participate in federally assisted contract opportunities.  RTA encourages and welcomes women and minority-owned businesses to provide their input and insight into how to better support and serve as a liaison into doing business with the RTA.
