RTA Touch a Truck Event at Downtown Cleveland Public Square

Cleveland, OH – The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) is hosting a   “Touch a Truck” event at Downtown Cleveland Public Square on Sunday, August 13, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. 

Some of the RTA trucks and vehicles to see and explore include:

  • Transit Police Cars, Motorcycles & Command Vehicle
  • HealthLine Bus
  • B-Line Trolley and Special Holiday Trolley
  • Salt Trucks
  • Mobile Mechanic Truck
  • Front End Loader
  • Paratransit Vehicles

In addition to vehicle demonstrations, RTA Human Resources, Operators and Rail Maintenance   employees will be on-hand to talk about job opportunities/careers available at RTA. RTA’s Transit Police will be onsite with Operation Community Watch, a program where children interact with RTA Transit Police Officers to learn valuable safety tips and to have a child ID created. While at the event, feel free to meet and greet some of RTA’s Transit Police K-9 Officers, as well as take a moment to enjoy lunch from a variety of food trucks onsite.
