Blue and Green Line Riders - Shuttle Buses Replace Trains East of Buckeye - Woodhill

-

From 8:00pm Tuesday, November 25, 2014 through the middle of service Monday, December 1, 2014, 67R shuttle buses will replace Blue and Green Line trains east of E 79 Station due to ODOT demolition of the bridge at Buckeye - Woodhill.

The 67R will follow a faster, more direct route between Tower City and Buckeye - Woodhill, making intermediate stops at Woodland - E 55 and Woodland - E 79 only. These buses will make all station stops between Buckeye - Woodhill and the end of each light rail line (Green Road for Green Line, Warrensville - Van Aken for Blue Line). Buses will pick up and drop off downtown at Tower City at the 67R bus stop in front of the Horseshoe Casino on Public Square.

Blue and Green Line trains between Tower City and E 79 will operate on approximately a 15-minute frequency, with a slightly reduced span of service.

Due to the additional time needed to travel city streets, passengers are advised to allow extra time for their travel.

Red Line and Waterfront line service will operate a regular schedule.

Regular Blue and Green Line service will resume mid-day Monday, December 2, 2014, per the following schedule:

  • First Green Line EASTBOUND will leave Tower City at 12:00pm.
  • First Green Line WESTBOUND will leave Green Rd at 12:38pm.
  • First Blue Line EASTBOUND will leave Tower City at 12:15pm.
  • First Blue Line WESTBOUND will leave Van Aken at 12:53pm.

RTA regrets any inconvenience to its customers during this time.
