From Friday, June 26, 2015, Effective immediately and until further notice, E 71st between Broadway Avenue and Fleet Avenue will be closed due to the collapsing of the road.
During that time, the following reroutes will be in effect:
#2: East 79th
Northbound: Regular route to E 71st and Fleet, right on Fleet, left on Broadway returning to regular route.
Southbound: Regular route to Broadway and E 71st, continue Broadway, right on Fleet, left on E 71st returning to regular route.
#16: E. 55
Northbound: Regular route to Fleet and E 71st, continue Fleet, left on Broadway returning to regular route.
Southbound: Regular route to Broadway and E 71st, continue Broadway, right on Fleet, continue Fleet returning to regular route.
