CLEVELAND -- The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) will hold a public hearing at 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, in the George F. Dixon III Board Room, on the first floor of the RTA's Main Office, 1240 W. Sixth St.

The hearing concerns RTA's filing of an application for grant funding to purchase of Paratransit vehicles through the Northeast Ohio Area Coordinating Agency (NOACA) Section 5310 Program.

Section 5310 provides capital and operating grants to provide coordinated transportation services that are planned, designed, and carried out to meet the needs of seniors and individuals with disabilities. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider the economic, social, and environmental effects of the project.
