Natoya J. Walker Minor, newly-appointed Deputy General Manager of Administration and External Affairs (click for larger image)Cleveland, OH – The Greater Cleveland Regional Authority (RTA) has appointed Natoya J. Walker Minor as Deputy General Manager of Administration and External Affairs. Ms. Walker Minor brings 30 years’ experience working in external affairs and public administration in positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as the Chief of Public Affairs for the City of Cleveland. Ms. Walker Minor will begin in her new role at RTA on March 8.

“We are pleased to welcome Ms. Walker Minor to the RTA leadership team,” said RTA’s CEO and General Manager India Birdsong. “We look forward to incorporating her communications experience and energetic management style while advancing our footprint in the community.”

Ms. Walker Minor has provided strategic leadership, policy and operational direction for multiple departments within the City of Cleveland since 2006, where she first served as Special Assistant to the Mayor, Public Affairs until 2008. She then became Deputy Chief, Operations & Interim Director in the Office of Equal Opportunity from 2009 to 2010 before being appointed Chief of Public Affairs.

Ms. Walker Minor holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Toledo and earned a Master of Public Administration as a National Urban Fellow from City University of New York. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Executive Leadership from the University of Charleston, WV.
