CLEVELAND -- For the 26th straight year, the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting has been awarded to the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA).
RTA Trustees met today. During the full Board meeting, all agenda items passed. Trustees also reviewed proposed 2015 Appropriations and heard an update on the Fuel Hedging Program.

For the 26th consecutive year, RTA has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA).

RTA and the FOP signed an agreement for a new, three-year contract, effective March 1, 2014. The agreement calls for wage adjustments to be based on RTA revenues.

RTA will hold another community meetings to gather public comment about Rapid stations at East 34th Street and East 79th Street.
