New timetables needed for March 18 service changes

CLEVELANDNew timetables go into effect on Sunday, March 18 for some bus routes of the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA).

New timetables are needed for: #4, #9X, #14, #15, #19, #20A, #22, #35, #38, #39X/BX, #45Y/R, #46, #51X, #51F/251/451, #79A/B, #135, #246, #326, #804.

Changes that deserve special mention include:

  • On the #35 Broadway-Quincy, trips to Ken Mar Industrial Parkway will no longer operate on Market Place.

·         On the #39X/BX, the 2:22 p.m. and 3:22 p.m. trips from downtown will operate to the Euclid Park-n-Ride lot. This will provide additional opportunities to return to the lot before the #239 begins service for the afternoon rush hour.

·         The #57 Tower City/ Tri-C route will be discontinued. Ridership has dropped off sharply since the E-Line trolley service began. Riders between Tri-C and Tower City can use the #14, #15, #25B/W, #33 or #35.

·         On the #804 Lakewood Community Circulator, all trips will use West 115th Street instead of West 117th Street, between Lake Avenue and Clifton Boulevard. Evening and Early morning trips between Winton Place and the West 117th Street Rapid Station will also follow new daytime routing.

New timetables are being printed and will be posted as soon as possible on rideRTA.com. They will be available at:

  • RTA’s Main Office, 1240 W. Sixth St.
  • Customer Service Center at Tower City

For more information or to receive a new timetable by mail, call the RTAnswerline, 216-621-9500.
