Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug.
25, to break ground for a new $8.5 million Rapid Transit station on East 55th
Street at the east end of I-490. The leaders include Mayor Frank Jackson and
Jolene Molitoris, Director of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT). Also speaking are several City Council members
and Joe Calabrese, RTA CEO and General Manager. About 87 percent of the work is being paid with
federal funds, including stimulus money from the American Recovery and
