News & Updates | Newsroom News & Updates: Newsroom RTA news Oct. 1, 2009 Waterfront Line shut down for maintenance this month CLEVELAND – The Greater Cleveland Regional
Transit Authority (RTA) will suspend service on the Waterfront Line for
three weeks, so maintenance work can be completed. Service will be suspended Oct. 5-24, between
Tower City and the South Harbor Station in the Municipal Parking Lot by the
Shoreway. The Browns do not play
at home during this time. On weekdays, riders traveling to and from the North
Coast Station or the Municipal Parking Lot should board the #47 Loop bus at West
Roadway and Superior Avenue. Passengers wishing to travel to and from rail
stations at Settlers Landing or Flats East Bank should board the B-Line trolley or E-Line trolley and
exit along West Ninth Street. On weekends, a shuttle bus will operate every 30
minutes, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m., between the trolley stop in front of Positively
Cleveland, 100 Public Square at Tower City, and the North
Coast Harbor area. This shuttle bus will serve riders headed to the North Coast
Station on East Ninth Street, the Rock &
Roll Hall of Fame, and the Great
Lakes Science Center. Waterfront Line service
