CLEVELAND – Track work by the Greater Cleveland
Regional Transit Authority (RTA) will affect the Blue Line this weekend,
Oct. 17-18. Shuttle buses will replace trains from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and 7
a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday, from Shaker Square to the end of the line at Van Aken -
Warrensville. The buses will stop at every Blue Line rail
station, so customers should wait there. Regular rail service will operate
before 7 a.m., and after 7 p.m., each day. Each morning, the first westbound bus will leave
Van Aken-Warrensville at 6:54 a.m., and arrive at Shaker Square at 7:07 a.m.
The first eastbound bus will leave Shaker Square at 7:02 a.m., and arrive at
Van Aken-Warrensville at 7:15 a.m. In the evening, the last eastbound bus will leave
Shaker Square at 7:02 p.m., and arrive at Van Aken-Warrensville at 7:15 p.m.
The last westbound bus will leave Van Aken-Warrensville at 7:15 p.m., and
arrive at Shaker Square at 7:37 p.m. Service from Tower City to Shaker Square will not
be affected. While delays will be kept to a minimum, customers
should allow extra travel time. Regular rail service will resume on Monday
