CLEVELAND – The Board of Trustees of the Greater
Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) meets at 9 am. Tuesday, Oct. 20, at
RTA's Main Office, 1240
W. Sixth St.
The Board will consider these resolutions:
2009-58 –
Spend $598,420 with ProTran1 LLC to furnish and install an Audible
Pedestrian Alert System (APAS) on 400 buses, with an option to furnish up
to 80 additional vehicles at an added cost of $119,684. Funds from the
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) will be used. About 20
percent of the work will be done by a local DBE.
2009-90
– Purchase up to $125,000 in rock salt from the City of
Cleveland.
2009-91
– Sell excess land at 5508-5810 Euclid Ave., to the City
of Cleveland for $900,000.
