RTA to adjust downtown bus service in June
CLEVELAND – Officials of the Greater Cleveland Regional
Transit Authority (RTA) plan to adjust the downtown portions of more than 30 bus routes.
The changes, expected to take
place on June 11, come after an extensive study of downtown routes, and are in
preparation for the new Silver Line.
Two community meetings will be
held Tuesday, April 18, to explain and answer questions about the service
changes.
The meetings begin at noon and 5
p.m. at the RTA’s Main Office Building, 1240 W. Sixth St.
The site is accessible, and both
trolley routes serve the building.
Changes will affect a downtown portion of the following routes:
1, 4, 6, 7X, 9X, 14, 15, 15F, 19,
23, 25B/W, 32X, 33, 35, 38, 39X/BX, 39F, 49F, 51X, 51F, 55X, 55F, 75X, 76X,
76F, 77F, 81, 86F, 87F, 88X, 96F, 135, 239, 251, 263, 451
