News & Updates | Newsroom News & Updates: Newsroom RTA News Friday, April 28, 2006 RTA, Cavs ready for Playoff Game 5 on May 3 CLEVELAND -- On May 3, the Cleveland Cavaliers are ready to take on the Washington Wizards, and RTA is ready to take you to NBA Playoff Game 5. The exact game time will be set next week. Basketball fans can rely on RTA to provide easy, affordable and convenient service to Quicken Loans Arena – the “Q”. Park free in the more than 7,000 spaces at RTA rail stations, and take the Red, Blue or Green Rapid Transit lines to the game. RTA's 1,050-foot Walkway protects fans from
traffic and the weather. The Walkway begins at the Tower City food court and
ends in the arena lobby. It opens at least two hours before each game, and
remains open for 90 minutes after the game. Many bus routes also serve Public Square and the
Q arena area. RTA urges customers to buy a $3 All-Day
Pass, which provides unlimited rides until 3 a.m. All-Day Passes are
available where you pay your fare. Please have exact change. Are members of your team age 6-12? Buy an All-Day
Child’s Pass. Up to three children, age 6-12, pay $1 each for unlimited
travel, when accompanied by an adult paying regular fare. Senior citizens,
disabled persons and Medicare cardholders can apply for a RTA ID card. After
they receive their ID card, all rides are just 50 cents. A Senior/Disabled
All-Day Pass costs $1 for unlimited rides until 3 a.m. Customers can also use
their Monthly Pass or 7-Day Flex Pass. Need more information?
