East Side Red Line

-

Attention Red Line Riders:

Red Line rail service between Tower City and the Louis Stokes Station at Windermere will be replaced with 66R buses on Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 11-12, 2017, due to bridge work at East 79th Street and the Opportunity Corridor.

On this weekend, 66R buses will follow a more streamlined route.

66R buses will not serve the E. 34th and E. 55th stations on the Red Line.

66R buses will stop at all other Red Line stations east of Tower City. Look for the special orange 66R bus stop signs at each station.

The stop for East 79 is at Woodland-E 79. There is an additional 66R stop located at Woodland-E 55.

Blue and Green Line rail service will be available at E. 34th and E. 55th stations and at the E. 79th Blue/Green Line station.

At Tower City, riders may board the 66R on Public Square in front of the JACK Casino.

66R buses will operate a schedule similar to the Red Line, however, please allow additional travel time, especially if you are making connections.

Rail service between Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and Tower City will operate a regular schedule during this time.

Regular Red Line rail service will resume with the start of service on Monday, Feb. 13, 2017.

RTA apologizes for the inconvenience as this necessary work is completed.
