Sherwin-Williams Construction - Long-Term Reroutes

Effective Sunday, December 12, 2021 until further notice, the area of downtown bounded by W 3, Superior, W 6, and St. Clair will begin a number of traffic restrictions related to the construction of the new Sherwin-Williams headquarters.

During that time, the following reroutes will be in effect:

#3: Superior
Westbound: Regular route.
Eastbound: From layover, continue West Superior, right on W 9, right on St. Clair, right on W 6, left on West Superior returning to regular route.

#25: Madison - Clark
#71: Pearl - Tiedeman

Eastbound/Northbound: Regular route
Westbound/Southbound: Regular route, stop on West Superior before W 6 moved westbound to West Superior after W 6.

#26-26A: Detroit
Eastbound: Regular route.
Westbound: Regular route, stop on West Superior before W 6 moved westbound to West Superior after W 6.

#39: Lakeshore
Westbound: Regular route to Superior and East Roadway, continue Superior, West Superior, left on West Prospect to layover (no stops between Superior - East Roadway and West Prospect).
Eastbound: Regular route.

#53-53A: MetroHealth Line - Broadview
Northbound: Regular route to Rockwell & West Roadway, left on West Roadway to layover in front of Tower City.
Southbound: From layover, right on Ontario returning to regular route (new stop on Ontario at West Prospect).

#55-55B-55C: Cleveland State Line
Eastbound: Regular route to Shoreway exit at W 25, across Detroit-Superior Bridge, continue West Superior through Public Square to Superior returning to regular route (new stop on West Superior at West Prospect).
Westbound: Regular route.

#251: Strongsville Park-N-Ride
Northbound: Regular route.
Southbound: Regular route to Superior and East Roadway, continue Superior, West Superior, left on West Prospect returning to regular route.

B-Line Trolley
Counterclockwise: Regular route, stop on West Superior at W 6 removed.

Due to the long-term nature of these reroutes, new schedules with revised maps have been created. These schedules are available on rideRTA.com, at Tower City, at the RTA Main Office, and at any other locations where schedules can be obtained.

A number of these reroutes may become permanent. More details will be posted here as the project progresses.
