We would like to congratulate William Pillow, Alarice Reedy, and Calvin Scalf for receiving the 2018 General Manager’s Customer Service Award!
Mr. William Pillow from our Hayden District has multiple nominations from many passengers that all stated he is consistently compassionate towards his riders. RTA passengers applaud Mr. Pillow for his kindness, professionalism, and positivity throughout their trips on RTA. They say he is always providing service to his passengers with a genuine smile!
Ms. Alarice Reedy from Tower City Rail was nominated by three of her dedicated passengers who admire her willingness to always go above and beyond for customer satisfaction. She always exudes patience and guidance and is willing to assist any customer that needs help. She really stands by the mantra of "customer service is everyone's job", and it shows.
Mr. Calvin Scalf from our Triskett District was nominated by two of his passengers that stated "you exemplify everything that it takes to be an amazing operator." Specifically, when a passenger who already boarded Mr. Scalf's bus realized he had mistakenly left his briefcase on the bench outside of the bus stop, Mr. Scalf waited while he retrieved it and re-boarded the bus. Even with the minor delay, he still managed to get all of his passengers to their destinations on time.
All of us here at RTA would like to congratulate Mr. Pillow, Ms. Reedy, and Mr. Scalf on their exceptional customer service and thanks them for their loyalty to RTA. All of you have exemplified the mission, vision and values in your everyday work. We praise you and show our appreciation to help RTA achieve its goal of providing safe, reliable, clean, and courteous public transportation.
All three of these winners will be recognized at the annual RTA Employee Awards Banquet on April 25.
