CLEVELAND – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) needs six consecutive days to demolish a road bridge over the Blue/Green Line light rail tracks at the Buckeye-Woodhill Rapid Station. RTA worked with ODOT officials to choose six low-ridership days.

So, from 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, through Monday, Dec. 1, buses marked 67R will replace Blue and Green line rail service east of the Tower City Station. This includes:
Green Line trains between the Tower City Station and the Green Road Station, and
Blue Line trains between the Tower City Station and the Warrensville-Van Aken Station.

Trains on the Red Line and Waterfront Line will operate on a regular schedule.

In addition, Blue/Green trains will continue to operate between Tower City and East 79th Street stations on a modified schedule.

Regular Blue/Green Line rail service resumes Tuesday, Dec. 2.

The 67R buses will follow a faster, more direct route between the Tower City Station and Shaker Heights. They will not serve the Rapid Stations at East 34th Street, East 55th Street and East 79th Street.

At major stations, and at the Woodland-East 55th and Woodland-East 79th intersections, board at special 67R bus stops.
