CLEVELAND -- The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) connects customers to Cleveland’s weekend events, from Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus at Quicken Loans Arena, to live shows at PlayhouseSquare and the Browns vs. Raiders game at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Greatest Show on Earth

Check out the latest act with Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus presents “Built to Amaze!” through Sunday, Oct. 26, at the QPark for free in the more than 7,000 spaces at RTA rail stations, and take the RedBlue, or Green Rapid Transit lines to Tower City Station for the Q events, Avoid parking fees, traffic hassles and the elements. Take the Walkway from the Tower City Station straight into Quicken Loans Arena lobby.

Comedy at PlayhouseSquare

See one of PlayhouseSquare’s latest live shows, such as comedian Steven Wright, Sunday Oct. 26, and take the HealthLine to the second-largest theatre district in the country. Just buy a $5 All-Day Pass, ride the HealthLine to Euclid Avenue & East 14th Street Station and walk east along Euclid Avenue.

Browns vs. Raiders

Finally, watch the 4:25 p.m. Browns vs. Raiders game at FirstEnergy Stadium Sunday, and let RTA get you there.

Ride the Rapid

  • Park for free at many of RTA’s Rapid stations.
  • Red Line riders, buy a $5 All-Day Pass from a ticket vending machine inside the station. Keep it with you for the rest of the day. The pass is good until 3 a.m.
  • Ride in comfort on any Red, Blue or Green line train into the Tower City Station.
  • From there, light-rail trains go directly to the Waterfront Line. Red Line customers can transfer to the Waterfront Line. Green and Blue Line riders, pay when you exit.
  • Exit at the West Third Street Station, and walk across the street to FirstEnergy Stadium.
  • After the game, rail service home is guaranteed for at least 90 minutes.

Hop on the HealthLine

  • Service operates 24/7 on Euclid Avenue, from Public Square to East Cleveland.
  • Buy a $5 All-Day Pass from a ticket vending machine inside the station. Keep it with you for the rest of the evening. The pass is good until 3 a.m.
  • Board anywhere on the route.
  • Exit at Public Square. Walk to FirstEnergy Stadium, or enter Tower City and board the Waterfront Line.
  • Exit at the West Third Street Station, and walk across the street to FirstEnergy Stadium.

Tailgate with RTA

Join the tailgate fun with RTA. Riders will be treated to entertainment, hot dogs and soft drinks at the South Harbor Station of the Waterfront Line. The event starts at 1 p.m. Answer trivia questions and win prizes, as RTA teams up with Mark "Munch" Bishop and WKRN Radio, 850 AM, the radio home of the Cleveland Browns.
