CLEVELAND -- Because of ODOT Innerbelt construction, buses will replace trains east of Tower City for the Red, Blue and Green lines on Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 18-19, said officials of the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Autrhority (RTA).

That weekend, riders should go to their usual Red, Blue, or Green Line Rapid Station, and wait for a bus. Special signs at or near each Rapid Station tell riders where to board the 66R bus for the Red Line, or the 67R bus for the Blue and Green Lines.

Downtown, all buses will drop off and pick up in front of the Horseshoe Casino on Public Square.

The Red Line from Tower City to the Airport will operate as usual. The Waterfront Line will operate on a reduced frequency, with service every 30 minutes, instead of the usual 15 minutes.

Bus service hours will mirror those of the Rapid schedule. Trips may take longer than scheduled, so please allow extra time for your commute.

Regular rail service will resume on Monday, Oct. 20.

Riders with questions can check Service Alerts on the RTA Web site, or call 216-621-9500.
