Update on RTA Bus & Rail Service Suspension

Jan 17, 2022

RTA Bus & Rail Service Update

Presently, all RTA bus and rail service is still suspended until further notice.  Paratransit service continues due to the need to support customers with life, health and safety issues.  At 5:00am this morning, 50 buses in service were stuck in the snow, and as of this update that number has been reduced to 35. RTA continues to work with the cities of Cleveland and East Cleveland in getting streets cleared.  Rail snow plow cars continue to work on clearing all the rail lines of snow, and RTA anticipates restoring rail service later this afternoon.

RTA's Tower City Customer Service and Main offices will be closed on Monday, January 17, 2022, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Next update at 3:00pm.
