On Friday, March 1, 2024 until further notice, the Street Rehabilitation Project on East 79th Street between Chester Ave. and Cedar was expanded. East 79th is now closed between Woodland Ave and Opportunity Corridor to through traffic.
During that time, the following reroute will be in effect:
#2: East 79
Northbound: Regular route to East 79th and Opportunity Corridor, left on Opportunity Corridor, right East 75th, right on Woodland, left on East 79th, right on Cedar, left on East 83rd, left on Euclid, right on East 75th, right on Chester, left on East 79th to regular route.
Southbound: Regular route to East 79th and Woodland, right on Woodland, left on East 75th, left on Opportunity Corridor, right on East 79th to regular route.
