RTA Touch a Truck Event at Downtown Cleveland Public Square
The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) Police Department is hosting a “Touch a Truck” event at Downtown Cleveland Public Square on Sunday, August 14, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Some of the RTA trucks and vehicles to see and explore include:
Transit Police Cars, Motorcycles & Command Vehicle
HealthLine Bus
B-Line Trolley and Special Holiday Trolley
Salt Trucks
Mobile Mechanic Truck
Front End Loader
Paratransit Vehicles
Inflatable Train
In addition to vehicle demonstrations, RTA’s Transit Police will be onsite with Operation Kidwatch, a program where children interact with GCRTA Transit Police Officers to learn valuable safety tips and to have a child ID created. While at the event, feel free to meet and greet some of RTA’s Transit Police K-9 Officers, as well as take a moment to enjoy lunch from a variety of food trucks available onsite.
