 Buses replace East Side rail for Innerbelt onstruction

CLEVELAND -- To assist Innerbelt construction crews, all East Side RTA rail service on the Red, Blue and Green lines will be replaced with buses east of Tower City on these dates:

  • Tuesday, March 19, from 8 p.m. through the end of service. 
  • Thursday, March 21, from 8 p.m. through the end of service.  
  • Friday, March 22, from 8 p.m. through the weekend, Saturday-Sunday, March 23-24.  Regular rail service will resume with the start of service on Monday, March 25.

Replacement buses will pick up on Public Square in front of the Horseshoe Casino and at all stops.

Even though replacement buses will stop at all stations and make every effort to adhere to the regular Rapid schedule, please allow extra time for your commute.

Red Line service between Tower City and Brookpark will operate as usual. The Waterfront Line will operate on Saturday and Sunday. The Airport Station remains closed and is served by buses from the Brookpark Station.
