The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) announces the swearing-in of Emily L. Harper as the newest member to their Board of Trustees. Ms. Harper was sworn into service today by Traci Ext, GCRTA Senior Counsel for Labor, Employment and Administrative Law inside GCRTA’s Main Office Building at 1240 W.6th St., Cleveland, Ohio 44113.
Ms. Harper’s appointment was made by Cleveland Mayor Justin M. Bibb, to complete a term ending in March 2028.
"I'm pleased to welcome Ms. Harper as our latest Trustee," said GCRTA Board President and Mayor of Bay Village, Paul A. Koomar. “Her fresh perspective and passion for public transit service will be invaluable as we shape the future of GCRTA.”

About the Board Appointee:
Emily L. Harper is a Project Management and Strategy professional who has applied her skills in a variety of industries such as IT, Organization Development, and Emergency Management for various companies and non-profit organizations in Cleveland.
She is a board member of Cleveland GiveCamp, Inc., a frequent transit rider and member of Clevelanders for Public Transit (CPT).
Ms. Harper holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ohio University, and a Master of Science degree in positive organization development & change from Case Western Reserve University.
