The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) is excited to announce the debut of its official podcast, Driving Connections. Designed to bridge the gap between the transit authority and the communities it serves, the podcast offers a fresh, engaging way for riders to learn about the future of public transportation in the Greater Cleveland area.
Hosted by GCRTA employee, Mr. Ron Allen, Driving Connections will feature monthly episodes of guest interviews along with vital segments such as:
• Rider Story - Real stories about how transit impacts someone’s life and access to opportunity.
• Did You Know? – A brief fact segment about how GCRTA functions and operates their public transit system.
"We want to give our riders more than just a schedule—we want to give them a voice and an inside look at how their transit system operates," said Dr. Natoya Walker Minor, GCRTA Deputy General Manager Administration and External Affairs. "This podcast is a direct line for our community to understand the challenges we face, the innovations we are implementing, and the bright future of mobility in Greater Cleveland. The premiere episode, available today, features an interview of Mrs. India L. Birdsong Terry, GCRTA’s General Manager and Chief Executive Officer as she and host Mr. Ron Allen discuss her career, the future of transportation in Greater Cleveland, and introduces how the podcast showcases the importance of public transportation throughout Northeast Ohio.
